The MOST incredible illusion I've ever seen!
 

I'm a fan of visual illusions, but this one is by far the most impressive one that I've ever seen.

It shows an image of a castle with inverted colours. When you move the mouse over the image it is replaced with a black and white version of the same image. Stare at the image for a few seconds, and then, without breaking your stare, move your mouse over the image.....

I really must be a bigger moron than i thought - what's it supposed to do?

I dont see any illusion in it- what am i missing?

Mal: Stare at the dot on the weirdly-coloured castle. Keep staring for about 30 seconds. Then move the mouse over the image, while still staring. The image briefly looks like a full-colour photograph; blue sky, green grass, etc. But the image that is in front of you isn't in colour at all - it is a black and white photograph.
