Post your favorite mixed drinks, wines, beers, moonshine recipes, et cetera.

Not sure if this is called anything, since I sorta made it off the top of my head. If anyone's seen this before with a name, let me know, otherwise it shall henceforth be called the J-Dub.

1.0oz Absolute Vanilla
1.0oz Parrot Bay Rum (The coconut flavored one)
0.5oz Peachtree Schnapps
Fill tall glass to top with Squirt (Diet or Regular)

It's pretty tasty!


Beer:

Sapporro Gold
Corona Extra

Goose Island IPA Yum Yum.
Bushmills is my swillin Whiskey.

Ever try Jack Daniels' Single Barrel? SMOOOOOOOOTH!

Apple Pie Martini
3 oz. Stolichnaya Vanilla Vodka (Or any other vanilla flavoured vodka)
1/2 oz. Calvados
1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth
Shake with cracked ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with thin slice of apple.

Butterscotch Truffle Martini
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
Splash of Creme de Cacao
Blend with ice and serve in a chilled glass.....DECADENT! It tastes just like a butterscotch truffle.

Key Lime Pie Martini
2 oz. Stolichnaya Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. Rose's Lime Juice
1 oz. Half and Half Cream
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve with a lime twist.

I am a huge fan of Beringers Zinfandel Champagne (I put pineapple chuncks in the glass too)

Hardcore Zombie

1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz lime juice
1 dash of grenadine
1 oz orange juice
2 oz 151

This is my version of the classic Zombie, only a little harder.

for the harder drinking days, spend some cash on the Crown Royal Special Reserve. Put that baby in the freezer for a while and drink straight out of the bottle :) so smooth, so good, so tasty!!!!

i am being introduced to the wonderful world of single malt scotch by a friend of mine--if i could figure out a way to deal with the unbelievable hangovers, i would say i liked this world.

when it's hot outside: bombay gin and perrier

other times: trappist beers.

I like my creamy drinks on occasion. It tastes like chocolate milk to me and i can drink this any time of day.

Porn Star: Sour Rasberry liquor, melon liquor, vodka, seven

Chocolate Martini: Vodka and Creme de Cacao

Surfers paradise: Sour Rasberry, Blue Curaco, Cran, 7, Lime

Dr Pepper (shot): Amereto dropped into half a glass of beer.

Sicilian Kiss (shot): Amereto, Southern Comfort

Double Jack (shot): Jack Daniels and Yukon Jack

Jack Frost (shot): JD and Peppermint Schnapps, shake till it ice cold and strain but let the little tiny pieces of ice out

Gladiator (shot): Sicilian Kiss dropped in OJ

Has anyone heard of and knows how to make a Weekend at Charter Peachford? I believe that it will be a drink more known around Atlanta because that's where the Charter Peachford rehab clinic is. I'm told that it's a shot and is made from many different ingredients. Any help would be great.

electric popsicle: Blue Curaco, Bannana liquere, 7, Pineapple juice

Trappist Boilermaker

12 oz glass Chimay Grand Reserve, drop in shot glass of Knob Creek bourbon

Blood of Satan:
1.5 oz Jack Daniels
1.5 oz scotch whiskey (brand by taste)
1.5 oz Goldschlagger
1.5 oz Jaggermeister

Shake and pour over ice. Best if drunk in 3 to 4 pulls.

That sounds waaaaay toooo good. I'll be havin one of those tonight.... maybe two

Tasty Pussy (shot): Yukon Jack, Sour Rasberry Liquere.

1-2 parts Italian (DRY) Vermouth
8 parts Grey Goose or Balance Vodka, or Beefeater London Gin (NOTHING ELSE)
1-2 parts Ice
1 perfect Greek green olive (from Greece)

I don't freeze my gin/vodka before mixing, as the ice needs to balance out the powerful flavor of the gin/vodka in a perfect Martini. The original reason people started using vodka in Martinis was because bartenders thought that a dry Martini meant a Martini with less vermouth. This is a myth. Gin is a very powerful drink that usually needs something to balance the flavor so it is still full bodied, but is not overpowering. Shake to blend ice, as it helps to distrublute the ice better.

Ahhhh *sips*.

Sorry Willravel, I'm a Bombay Sapphire man when it comes to martinis. However, I ended up using this one for a party this weekend.

Green Beret
1/2 shot vodka
1/2 shot green creme de menthe

All you gotta do is chill the alcohol first. From there on out, it's just a straight pour and slam shot.

Snake Bite
1 part Tequila
1 part JD
1 part rye wiskey

Serve in a shot glass and slam

Damn! That is either heresy or enlightenment, right there. I am going to hae to try that. (Basil Hayden's though. I prefer it to Knob Creek.)

The Burda: Absolut(or any good vodka) and apple juice. I know it may sound weird/gross, but trust me. Great drink, unless you don't like apple juice of course...

Don't know what this ones called but:

Corona, drink the neck off, no lime
pour 1oz of Barcardi Limon in and enjoy.

Black Russian: Good Vodka (pref Stolli Vanilla) and Khalua on the rocks.

add milk for a White Russian ala "the dude"

add a splash of coke to the white russian for a Vodka Paralyzer

Paralyzers can be made with tequila, rootbeer schnapps, or bannana liquere in place of the vodka.

I am partial to chocolate martinis, but thats already listed, so here's another favorite of mine. the Naked Girlscout:
1 part Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 part Rumple Minze

CranRaspberry juice and vodka....goes down like Kool-Aid!

Ok, finally learned what was in this, or approximately.

Not sure about the ratios but probably equal amounts of each:
Rumple minze, Midori, Firewater, Barenjager, Jagermeister.

And they're poured in that order (I think) and layered (assuming that's the correct order otherwise they won't layer correctly). I had it served in a Martini glass and you just try and shot it, and damn was it ever good.
