Cabbage salad/Cole Slaw
 

I've been making this with my Grandpa for years.

Heres what we throw in:

Cabbage
Carrots
Celery
Green olives
Pineapple
Mayo

Chop up (or food process) the cabbage, a few carrots and stalks of celery. Mix it up. Add some chopped up green olives and pineapple. Add a bit of mayo. Mix up and enjoy :)

I'm having some now, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it :D


Anyone else have cabbage salad/cole slaw recieps?

Fake Japanese Cabbage Salad

1 medium head cabbage, shredded
3 or 4 carrots, shredded
small handful toasted sesame seeds
Large handful toasted slivered almonds
1 package of ramen noodles (crushed) (or use the Chinese Chow Mein Noodles)

Dressing:
equal parts rice vinegar and vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tsp. ginger root, grated (less if you like)

Add the noodles at the very end so they stay crunchy
