Mother's Day Dinner Idea
Keeping with the mother's day breakfast idea, what is a good meal to cook your mum for a nice dinner on her special day (which is Sunday in the US too). Chicken, seafood and vegetables are what my mom is all about. I would guess that most women aren't huge red meat fans. Any suggestions?

Steamed peeled shrimp is always a favorite. lettuce ,lemon and cocktail sause is a great start. Then you can make shrimp kabobs
they are real simple and lots of recipes too. never forget some fresh pinapple and strawberries for desert.

Just to let anyoen who cares know- I settled on a caesar salad with roasted garlic and spicy stonington shrimp steamed in beer along with some penne pasta. The recipes for salad and shrimp are at epicurious.com We'll see what I do with the pasta.
