Noodles! <3
I <3 noodles. Almost every kind. Especially any kind of asian type. Especially Vietnamese. What's your favorite noodle? What's the easiest to make at home that's still super good? There's just something about noodles that seem like the perfect food. Even though pizza maybe tastier, noodles just have something all other food doesn't.

Damn, I totally thought this was a thread about me at first
I love pho. With the traditional noodles. I also totally have a thing for whole wheat thin spaghetti noodles with spicy, homemade red gravy and meatballs. Or mexican vegetable-based corkscrew noodles with black beans, shredded chicken, corn, tomatoes and spicy red sauce. When I was little and didn't feel well, my mom would make me angel hair pasta with a little butter, some garlic, and parmesan cheese. It's a comfort food favorite. I'm not a fan of the yellow noodles (Ramen-style for them Americanos)... the texture is weird. And none of those beef stroganoff noodles... the wide egg noodles, I think. Not a fan. Gimme flavorful and I'm happy.

Every time I order Thai food, it takes a great deal of self-discipline to order something other than Pad Thai. Fried rice noodles, ftw!
I'm also a pretty huge fan of soba noodles. So damn good. I'm generally a fan of noodles. But it really is all about fried noodles.

Oh yeah, Pad Thai. Yummy yummy yummy. When we go for Thai, it's usually a toss-up between Pad Thai and Evil Jungle Noodles.
We eat a lot of noodles, all kinds, from all cuisines--spaetzle to soba to rice sticks to farfalle.

I am in the land of noodle and loving it.
I love all sorts but my absolute favourite noodles are the hand pulled ones. Not only to they appear to be made by magic, they taste incredible. This weekend I ate Chee Chong Fun, which is a type of noodle that is made in sheets, stuffed with ingredients, rolled then sliced and covered in sauce. So. F'n. Good.

My grams used to make a modified Chili Size. Instead of hamburger buns, we would put the chili over spaghetti noodles. Top with cheddar cheese and you have one serious comfort food dish.

Blasphemy. Chili is topped with cheese, not a topper on something else.
I think spaghetti noodles and chili is either a Texas thing or a Chicago thing. We put beer, chocolate, and coffee in this here chili and no noooooders. I have a hard time with mexican noodle dishes. S orders beef pad thai with basil and adds the homemade chili paste/oil from the local authentic thai restaurant. It blows my mind.

Chili on spaghetti? Isn't that just bolognese with a twist?
I could go for a bowl of chili right now... I may have to make some this weekend.
