Cheesecloth anyone?

Hey all,
I'm so into cheese making and I want to try making some, just for the fun of it.
But I cannot seem to know where to find cheesecloth or how to tell if it is cheesecloth or not.
Where can I find cheesecloth?
How does it look?
I've seen alot of kinds of cloths in the dollar store but it does not say "cheesecloth" , I think it says dish towel....but it's a thin cloth.
Any one can help me find cheesecloth (not online because I'm not oging to pay for shipping for something I can get in a store and I can see with my own eyes).
Thanks all!

I can normally find it in a grocery store by their other cooking utencils (where can openers are etc...)
It is called cheesecloth, however not every having made cheese, I can only assume it is what you need.

cheesecloth can be found in hardwarestores as well - but grocery stores are usually a good place to look

Cheesecloth is a very thin piece of fabric that is not tightly woven - muslin gauze is what it m ight also go by.. (but don't get the gauze that's sold as first aid - it's over priced...

googling brought up this close up image of what it looks like

I have found it in the fabric section of stores. They'll cut as much as you need.

Going to www.froogle.com - also brought up some auto supply stores - apparantly it's good for post waxing of the car.. it's one more place to check -- an auto supply store you'd probably get it at a decent price as well..

You can likely find it at a craft store, as it's often used in crafts as well as in cheese-making.

I'd love it if you could post a write up about making cheese sometime, I've never known anyone who has done that.

I use cheese cloth when roasting Turkey. I never have trouble finding it at the grocery store.
