Ryan Seacrest vs. Ryan Seacrest
Fresh off of the latest season of hosting "American Idol", Ryan Seacrest will be hosting "American Jrs"--the under 18 version of "Idol". He has also signed on to host his own talk show which will bring us around to the third season of "Idol", while he still hosts his afternoon radio show in Los Angeles.
Is he taking the right steps to build his career, or is he just taking a hard left turn into over-exposure??? (Hi, my name is Carson Daly, I'll be your tour guide....) |

He is capitalizing on his fame from American Idol. With American Idol being so hot, he will make enough money that by the time his 15-minute of fame is up, he will have enough money to live off for the rest of his life.
I think you would rather to be over expose then to be forgotten. Can you remember anyone from the top 10 from American Idol, plus the other host who has done anything since the show ended besides Kelly, Justin, and Tamyra. |

Did American Idol fire Dunkleman, or did his agent screw up his contract renewal for the second season? I was never clear on how that played out.
Seacrest is really a good host, and I think he's got a career at this. His show should do pretty well.
