Celebrity Sightings
Did a brief search for this, but found nothing.
Just report seeing any celebrities here. I saw Kentucky Joe (Survivor) in his truck driving around Lexington last Sunday. He was driving a red Ford F-Series with tags that read IMJOE.

In Toronto I often see Eugene Levy and Mark McKinney (Mark is one of the Kids In The Hall and briefly on SNL). I've also seen Eric Stoltz. The highlight of my celeb sighting must have been a few months ago when Bruce Willis was in the same movie theatre watching a movie. He was being a big goof and it was pretty funny. He even heckled one of the movie trailers!
For Torontonians, I recommend the Varsity Theatre. I've seen many celebs there. Of course around film festival time you can see them everywhere, and when I used to be a floor captain at the gala venue (Roy Thomson Hall) I saw dozens more!

When I worked in Yosemite...I ran the Mountain Shop (Camping/backpacking/climbing stuff), we carried very nice gear. One morning I noticed a short guy, very unkempt, straggly beard browsing thru the North Face Jackets. I watched him for about ten minutes to make sure he wasnt stealing a $300 jacket, when he instead brought it up to the counter to buy it. Mind you....this guy was in sweats and looked like he just woke up from a bad dream, while sleeping in a pile of woodland debris, even has a few pieces of leaf in his beard. When I looked at his face I thought I recognized him, but mentally shook my head..."No freakin way this is him" I thought to myself.
I rang up the coat and a couple other items (Nalgene bottle and iodine tablets), he then handed me his credit card.....I almost dropped it when I read the name. I looked at his face again and he nodded his head, talking for the first time. "Nice Ditch you guys have here" he said. " And all I want to do is enjoy it...OK?" was all he said. I finished the sale and handed his card back, saying," I hope you have a great time Mr. Williams". I then told Robin Williams about a really cool hidden hike that lead to the best views in Yosemite Valley. Really cool guy.

When we were in London a couple of months ago, me and my g/f crossed the street and nearly got run over by Patrick Stewart in his Jag. He even beeped us!

OK, let's see...
I was at the bar in the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto waiting for my beer when Jeneane Garafalo stepped up to do the same. I did not try to pick her up. Andre 3000 of Outkast was looking around the Art Gallery of Ontario Gift shop. I was cool enough not to shout out "Heyyyy Yaa!" I walked by Steven Wright on the street once. I resisted the urge to ask "Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?" But when I saw Gene Shalit crossing the street in New York, I yelled out "Hey, It's Gene Shalit" and he smiled and waved. Woo!

I wont go into all the "music" people I've partied with....
My ex and I were out at dinner years ago at the 57th fighter group...a very nice resturant done in the war theme....sand bags for walls....40's music everywhere...not a BIG expensive place but not cheap. It sits on the runway for a local airport here outside atlanta. We had reservations but they were running behind....we were waiting for our table and drinking. I had to make a potty break and when I came back my Ex hubby was talking to Ted Turner and Jane Fonda (who also werent being given their table) and trying to decide if we all wanted to go to waffle house together They called our table and we asked if they wanted to sit with us while they waited for theirs. They did....man Jane looked old in person lol

This summer I saw Vince Vaughn twice. First, he was filming that new movie (the one with Jennifer Anniston) in Wrigley Field at a game I attended. Later this summer, I was walking around downtown with some friends when we walked right by him. He is really, really tall. His movies don't make that clear enough.

I've seen many pro basketball players, Lyle Lovett, and Wilford Brimley. No one very interesting. Oddly enough, with the Sundance Film Festival and Utah being a prime area for movie shoots, I've never seen any high profile celebrities.

I have had Jeff Gordon come into my shop and send a fax, Dale Jr. just wandering around. Seen Todd Saurbraun all the time he is really a prick. Rodney Peete used to stop in and get copies fairly often, with his wife from 21 Jump Street.
Think that is about it... Oh yeah if you can consider Bob Johnson a celeb then you can add him to the list.

I have met Stevie Nicks and Dave Mustaine (takes his AA extremely serious sponsored one of my best friends in Phoenix).
Played golf in front of Alice Cooper and Pat Boone and had them play through. Very, very, very nice men and hilarious. spent 2 minutes on the tee laughing with them. Alice wouldn't allow us to call him Alice he would just glare, smile and say "my name is Vince". Met Ray and Dave Davies seperately. Both very cool. Met David Letterman and several others as they drove through Mid Ohio Race Course entrance (Kiwanis took tickets for the track and us Kiwanian kids would work also). Letterman sticks out the most as he was the coolest, signed my mom's worker pass. Met many of the old school Indy drivers Rick Mears, Mario and Michael Andretti, Bobby Rahal, Penske, AJ Foyt, Al and Al Unser Jr. Met Penn and Teller in Vegas.... again extremely nice men. They were filming their old FX show "Sin City" in the Hilton theatre and you could gfo in for free and watch and usually mingle with the stars in the lobby before and sometimes after the show.... met French stewart and Richard Karn that way. Richard Karn sat at some slots (not playing) by the entrance for about 2 hours before the show alone reading his script. Met some truly HUGE assholes that had huge heads and had no reason to be but I won't mention names....

Fuck me, I forgot about playing happy birthday on stage for Kenny Chesney in Lexington. Our band got a personal thank you note and a check for $1,000 from Tim McGraw.
Also, I go to Bengals training camp a couple of times every year, and over the years have met Corey Dillon, Jon Kitna, Lorenzo Neal, Akili Smith, and, of course, Takeo Spikes. I've also had the pleasure of speaking with Senate Majority Whip Mitch McConnell.

Actually, she invited a whole group of us up there for the afternoon so she could lead a meditation session. It was quite enjoyable.
