Opening Credits - Boogie Nights!!! There is a single camera that travels down the street, into the club, introduces all of the main characters, and not once, in 6 minutes, does the camera stop rolling, switch angles. The number of takes in must have required to coordinate all of those actors, was astounding. They used that filming technique twice in the film. Once there, and once during the New Year's eve party/murder/suicide. Very creative cinematography!

Opening credits - the Bond films are so distinctive.

I also agree Star Wars has a powerful opening.

In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

It wasn't a movie, but the intro was pretty cool, with the 'A-team' logo being created from bullet holes...good music too
