How many markers are there usually? It seems like there will be more than usual, because ist the pit stop usually after the detour? Anyway, i dont think the wrestlers can catch up, itll be too late. wait when did the cafe say itll open, 10am or pm. I thought i saw pm, but that doesnt make any sense. I thought it would of been too late cuz the train wont leave till 7am, and there wont be anyway theyll catch up.

That was definitely the highlight of the show imo. He was totally speechless. His blaming Gus and Hera for taking their tickets, give me a break. They went to a travel agent and hey just happened to book before Jonathan and Victoria...YEAH!! Waiting patiently for next week...

I am now taking bets on what episode someone will finally smack Jon and who it will be. I thought last season with Colin's ugly American with the taxi driver was the lowest a player could get. Jon has proven me wrong - not only does he berate a ticket agent, but he annoys a taxi driver so much that they get booted. That was a happy moment in my household. At least Victoria finally started giving him back a little crap.
And yeah, wtf is with this to be continued crap. If Lori and Bolo aren't eliminated, I am going to be real annoyed. I love their attitudes and personalities, but they should be gone.

I don't think bolo and lori falling behind is AR's fault. They took backroads all the way to the detour and not the highway (M3) like everyone else.
Although it would be nice to see them stay, I don't think it was their fault.

We skipped it once it appeared to be a "best of" episode. From what we could tell, since we only watched the first 30 seconds, was that they were going to recap what happened so far and show some "extra" footage. So I don't think anything really happened last night.

I think they probably did a best of since a lot of people are on holidays and partying and stuff so they wouldnt get the big ratings they usually get.
Its the same reason many of our favourite shows are all repeats this week.

I thought todays episode was absolutely hillarious. My wife and I were laughing constantly during the soup eating challenge.
Its sad to see Gus and Hera go, I liked Hera and Gus is good for comedic value In the preview for next weeks race when Adam was in the old fashioned Scuba outfit my daughter asked me is that what I wear when I go diving.

Poor Gus and Hera. Although we were spared the Gus Speedo shot....
But the Lord gave us a Jon Speedo shot. And it was lovely. Adam is such a wuss. He's always "If I die tell my mother I love her." Dude, grow a pair and shuddap.

It was sad to see Gus and Hera go. They were a fun team, but I did feel like they were due. They always seem to just make it on the challenges.
The best part about the eating challenge was when Hayden pointed out Victoria throwing up and that caused Aaron to start puking. Gotta love chain reaction vomiting. What amazed me was that Adam and Rebecca were finished sixth when they were the second ones out of the restaurant. She must have spent a lot of time emptying out. And of course Jonathan never ceases to amaze me that he can go lower each week. At least everyone realizes that he makes Victoria do the hard tasks and he takes the easy ones.

It only looked like Rebecca had a quick puke by the door, they must have taken a really long way to the pitstop. Rebecca is awesome, I like her more and more each week, she's hillarious and tough.

Sickest AR episode ever. Specially when Freddy pukes in to his own bowl and has to eat it again. Geez, everyone else just puked on the floor. That was sick...
See ya Gus and Hera, they weren't going to win, so it was a good time for them to go, and yes thank you for no Gus speedo shot. Geez Jon is ripped. And congrats to Lori and Bolo from being way behind to being way in front. Oh and did anyone get any indication that someone did pull the gate back down on Freddy's head? I think he just went crazy for nothing. |

And what was the story with all the whining over the gate being pulled down? Did someone actually do it or did he just run into it?

They were stuck at the train station and thought they had to wait till 7am or something. Bolo went and double checked and discovered there was a train at 2am or something, they caught that, the internet cafe was still open and were instructed to go to one of those challenges where they have to pick a number and everyone goes one by one. They went directly to this challenge while everyone else who was like 8 hours before them got some sleep in a local hotel.
They got number 1, did the required stuff to get the clue and got the first fast forward. They completed this and finished hours (seemed like) before everyone else. From last to first. I was pretty happy with that.

I doubt they would organize a train for them. I do however think they may have kept the internet cafe open longer than originally intended....

Hayden is obnoxious.
Jonathan is still, and always be, the asshole of the race. Kris and Jon? Still awesome. Although they were getting a bit not so awesome with the ticket agent. Glad they got on the plane though. Aaron? Loving him. He's pretty funny. And he's a saint for putting up with Hayden. Rebecca and Adam? Snore. He's obnoxious, and she's too mean to him. Freddy and Kendra? Snore again. Ugly American sterotype. Glad it wasn't an elimination round though. I wonder if the Model Alliance will hold, if Freddy and Kendra will give Hayden and Aaron some cash.

What's with the reuse of the tricky climbing contraption from last season...
Geez I hope Kris and Jon win the race, they are the only two left that should really be in a relationship (well Lori and Bolo too, but they are like circus clowns). I felt bad for them at the airport ticket desk. How would you feel if you made reservations then when you get to the airport they are gone. I'd be pissed too. Can you imaging if that would have happened to Jonathan? He would have went nuts! The model alliance?? The only one in that alliance that is half sane is Aaron. And yeah, you know who Hayden/Aaron will be going to for money next round... The concept of taking their money away was cool, but it fell apart when the teams figured out they could just ask other teams for money. Think of it in Jeopardy terms. You have no points and the guy next to you has 2000. Would you ask him to give you the answer to the 500 point question, just because you have nothing and he has a lot??? Sounds kind of silly doesn't it... |

I think the model alliance won't last in the next round. I think that the previous generousity of the other teams, including Kris and Jon, will dry up. (Just like Jonathan's grapes.)
An ass is an ass is an ass. At least we got to see Victoria berate him for being a moron. The previews for next week seem like other teams are going to start to berate him too. And wtf is with Bolo. The guy is so huge yet he can't lift his own body weight, never mind that he runs out of breath in five seconds.

I bet they could have filled an entire hour's show of Jonathan betrating Victoria after they finished last. I'm also glad that we don't have to see them anymore.

I gotta have one final gripe about them:
Did you notice as they strolled up to the finish line, they had all of those kids in tow. I have a feeling Jonathan will see in his mind that he was recreating Ali from the Rumble in the Jungle scenario. What an ass. (I had to get it out, I won't have him anymore to complain about.) And did anybody else have a feel good moment when Kendra talked about the poverty level in Addis Adaba? Ah, to be young, pretty and dumb.
