VH1 ....
Ok, I gotta know. Am I the only one who thinks Vh1 has lost it. Their show lineup has been literally reduced to Prince Concerts and an array of shows that employ a bunch of C list actors who read a script making fun of famous singers. Almost pulled it off, except that Scott Ian, right after he finishes with his little rant about how bad Bohemian Rhapsody was, is going to jump into his moms car and return to his batchelor pad.... or his parents basement. Not saying MTV is any better. But VH1 has turned into the annoying kid down the street that took a decent idea, and expanded it to a giant life sucking blob dripping with sarcasm and one liners. Time to turn it to CMT.

Actually, I like VH1 better than I ever did. I think a lot of their shows are hilarious, and much better than watching music videos.
And I like it a lot more thah MTV. |
the videos that they show on mtv (however rare it is) are better than the stuff vh1 shows. but i like vh1's best week ever and the other kinda random list things where they have nonames make fun of people. but the fabulous life series must end. now.

Yeah VH1 is starting to really annoy me. I really liked the I Love the 80s/70s shows and some of the list things they did, but now they've just seemed to make a list about anything and let noname comedians give stupid reasons for why something is stupid. And yeah the Fabulous Life crap is getting really old, and the Driven show is just crap, and what the fuck is with this Awesomely Bad bullshit??? what a waste of airtime. I liked VH1 before it started to market towards teens and the MTV crowd, back when it had more class and didn't cater to the crappy pop culture crowd.

Hmmmmm.....Well, I skip around all the time from channel to channel.
I like VH1, when it has something good on. |
the only thing that's getting on my nerves is the "I love the 80s" bullshit. It's so fake. There is no way these actors/comedians/idols all know so much about the 80s to the point of obsession. Like they will mention something that happened in the 80s and then cut to the actors/comedians and they will just OBSESS over it like they invented the damn thing. They recite entire verses, entire lines in movies, list off different colors/versions of clothing items and products. I just feel like grabbing them and saying "you didn't fucking know that!!! They just told you to say it in front of camera!!!!"
They also exaggerate things out of proportion. It's just really annoying :) Funny at first, but now they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. |
Yeah, I like VH1...but really, the television has just lost it. I think the 'I love the 80's' stuff is pretty funny just because, like the last poster said, they totally fake their obsession and go crazy. It's just funny to see all the weird stuff that was considered for the 'in' crowd.
MTv is crap now. Nothing but crap. |

Now VH1's just crap. :( |
I can't wait for the I Love the 90's series, and then I will stop watching VH1.

Fuse is where it's at. They have two turntables and a microphone.
