Help!...addicted to Disney Channel!
 

What is wrong with me?

Over Christmas I had almost three weeks off work, and I spent most of my time playing video games, and watching tv and movies, generally just being lazy. Flipping channels one night I came across Kim Possible, and I've watched it every night since. After that I started watching Even Stevens and it just escalated from there. Now it's the first channel I check after I turn the tv on.

Growing up, the only channel my parents would let us watch was Disney, so maybe I'm just naturally drawn to it. Maybe I'm completely flipping my lid, or maybe these are actually good shows, I'm just not sure.

Please, help me! Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone think I'm mental? Does anyone else think Kim Possible is hot?

Kim Possible rocks. It's my replacement for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, except without the sexual tension.

Two miscelaneous facts: the title song is sung by the woman who does Kim's voice on the show, and she is also about to star in the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast.

The sad thing is, I already knew that. She also plays Ren Stevens on Even Stevens. And Ron Stoppable is the guy from that movie "The Trojan War". Another one of my guilty pleasures.

Im addicted as well. unfotunately I dont get the Disney Channel here at school so my obsession has calmed down.

The only show that I really cant watch alot is That's So Raven...I just dont really like it.

I don't even know what channel The Disney Channel here. I do think that if I got the Disney Toons channel I would watch that nonstop though. Do they still show older cartoons like Duck Tales, Tale Spin, and Rescue Rangers? God, I miss those shows.

Hell yeah, they do. Talespin is on ToonDisney at 2:00 AM. My roomate and i stay up to watch it. it's still badass.

I think Ducktales is on at like 1:00 AM

Holy crap, this is cool, i just did some research on the even stevens' girl. She was in "Parade" on Broadway. That's freakin' cool. And I realize that probably no one on here has any idea what i'm talking about.

My daughter watches Disney Channel every morning. Loves "The Wiggles" and "JoJo's Circus"

Just thinking about "The Wiggles" makes me physically ill. Something about that show just icks me out. No wonder kids these days are so screwed up.

BUUUUUT, so as not to threadjack, Kim Possible is hot, but I wouldn't watch disney for more than 30 minutes at a time.

I was never much a fan of "Kim Possible" though, I dunno, i just have a hard time watching today's cartoons, (except for "Johnny Bravo") as i've been spoiled by my awesome early 90's cartoons. I do like "Even Stevens" though. Louis is a dweeb.

My nephew and niece really like Kim Possible. So, when they're watching televsion, guess what they're watching?

I've tried to convert them to the classic cartoons; I've tried diverting their attention to other cartoons, but all they watch is Nickelodeon and Disney.

I have a different kids' cartoon theme stuck in my head every week. To add insult to injury I seem to enjoy watching Kim Possible.

If you think they made fun of you for watching Kim Possible, wait till I tell them that you watched the entire "That's So Raven" marathon last week.
