Hey Nostradamus by Douglas Coupland

I just finished reading "Hey Nostradamus" and while I enjoyed it the book was so damn short. I so many more questions that weren't answered or even acknowledge at the end. I feel cheated and I need closure.

Anybody else experience this when reading books by Douglas Coupland?

I read "Hey Nostradamus" while travelling before Christmas... I thought it was great. I didn't have a problem with the ending at all.

I've also read Miss Wyoming and All Families are Fucked Up (or Phsychotic in some stores).

While I think Coupland has become a much better story teller over the years (Generation X was his first novel) I'm not convinced he is a great writer. He still has time to develop some though.

To me, Coupland is a member of the school of writers that take on our culture and icons with a sharp eye for satire. I'd lump him together with Chuck Palaniuk (Fight Club, Diary), or Brett Easton Ellis (American Psycho) any day.

I am trying to come up with other names I'd add to this "school" but my mind seems to have become quite empty.
