In another post, people posted the show Adult Swim as one they never miss. I was hoping someone could tell me what it is about and when it is on. Thank you.

It is not a show but a block of shows on cartoon network I think at 10pm. There are a few funny shows like family guy,
sea lab 2021, futurama and a few more.

and there is also some americanized versions of anime on adult swim as well.
Family guy and all that are funny.. but jeeze you hear people talk about them like they would a beloved family member..
To each their own. I tried watching adult swim, but it comes on too late for me sometimes and the selection of anime they show isnt well suited for me.. plus they are dubbed, badly. The other shows are funny enough though.

The shows during Adult Swim like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Space Ghost, the Brak Show, and Harvey Birdman are all shows that you either enjoy a lot or hate and think they are stupid. They are geered towards a stranger sense of humor than that of the general tv viewer. Oh how I love them so...

I liked Space Ghost and Birdman as they were shown when I was a kid in the 70's and early 80's.
What they show now leaves me kinda confused, and with a feeling of premature fogey-ness creeping on.

Aqua teens kick major ass, as well as sealab, space ghost, and birdman. I watch the anime on sat. some times. About 2-3 months ago I found myself drawn into an anime on adult swim titled "Fooly Coolly." It Was the most fucked up cartoon vie ever seen....i enjoyed watching it stoned off my ass
