I'm really surprised that more people don't know about this movie. With all the popularity of South Park, I just assumed Cannibal: The Musical, Orgazmo, etc. were becoming common knowledge.
You know it's good when it's a story about Cannibalism but gains inspiration from Oklahoma. And yes... the commentary is hilarious. I gave my thoughts on it in the "rate the last movie you watched" thread too.

My friends down at college were always trying to get me to see this, but I never found a time where I remembered to. I guess I may have to now.

A friend of mine got me a copy when South Park was just becoming popular. In fact, it was this movie that led me to start watching South Park.
I guess now I'll have to grab the DVD. It was a hit around work. We used to sing all the songs during the lunch rush. Sigh, good times. Good times. I guess all that's left to say is 'cow bell solo'

I think I posted a journal entry about this not too long ago - we watched it with our downstairs neighbors who are huge fans of the movie. It was almost like watching it with commentary. I don't think it's that funny if you don't already know Trey and Matt and their style of humor. But I really liked Orgazmo and I LOVED Baseketball, so it was right up my alley.
I'd really like to watch it with the commentary, I heard it just gets funnier and funnier. Fun fact: The little jingle you hear at the end of South Park, when they show that image of the airplane that says "Brannif: Believe it!" - that jingle is from the main theme song from Cannibal.

Whoa... I don't think I ever made a thread of this.. I'm sure I've spoken about in the Chat though. I like the movie.. its great. And it actually is based on a true story. It most definately doesn't mean all parts are real ... but there are some true quotes in there. I got this when it was on VHS. Before this movie came to DVD, the VHS sold upwards to 80 bucks on Ebay.

I'm always impressed with Trey's songs. Even watching South Park, I enjoyed the quality of the songs, which was unusual for a show like South Park. When I saw the South Park movie I was blown away by the great musical numbers. Cannibal has some great tunes.. I espically like "The Trapper Song" and "Hang the Bastard. "

Quite possibly the greatest audio commentary of all time on the DVD. I like to listen and drink along with them.

Own it, love it.
Big fan of Trey Parker obviously (see sig). I especially love his songs, both the old ones (I spit on your love, Dead ballerina, Twin brotehrs in Love) and the new DVDA-songs. It shows that he majored in music.

I wish that they'd hurry up and get Orgazmo out on DVD.
