Now, it looks interesting, and there's obviously going to be another suprising twist, but...

According the the leaked script, which many hoped was a fake considering the following, this is what happens:

(watch the trailer first)

Spoiler: The 'beasts' are actually construction equipment that have come to tear the village down (hence the red paint/yellow flags). They are not living in the 1880's but present day. While I admit it is a good idea for a Twilight Zone episode, and is almost identical to Roger Cormans 'Teenage Caveman,' it is also incredibly dumb for a movie. As is the final line (probably changed now though):

"Crazy fuckin' white people!"

I'm a sucker for looking for spoilers but for some reason I want to be clueless about this movie until I see it.

I don't know if it's because I have cookies turned off or not. But I can't see the spoiler for some reason.

Which is good. Because I'd probably read it and then get pissed off at myself for doing so.

All I have to say is that I can't wait for this movie. Shyamalan just keeps making them better and better. I always have fun watching his movies. Which is so rare nowadays.

I saw the trailer for the movie at Cold Mountain a little while ago, it looks like it may be Shyamalan's weakest film. Didn't look as good as his other films, but it was only a teaser so we will see.

I was fairly skeptical about Signs but by the end of the movie I was truly into all of the characters and wanted to make sure that they all survived. I think that is one of the most important aspects of Night's movies, is that you actually care abou the characters above all else.

The Village looks like it could be just another Signs but his movies are made with a lot of thought and are enjoyable to watch. No doubt there will be some sort of twisted ending (I haven't read the spoiler above and don't plan on it)
