E.T. You can't call E.T. a "family movie" and include that freaky hospital scene. After being forced to sit through it twice (once with my dad, and once when he brought my mom back to see it and dragged me as well)...I was traumatized enough that I couldn't go into my closet for months. And my dog, a 125-pound Lab, had to sleep on my bed.
The Incredible Shrinking Woman freaked the shit out of me too. Not sure why, and I'm not willing to go back to watch it to find out.

The marionette scene from the Sound of Music was utterly fucking terrifying to me when I was a child. I still kinda freak when I see it today. Those goats just look so scary...eugh....

My mum banned me from watching Lassie when I was little.
I'd wake up in the middle of the night screaming "Where's Lassie?! Where's Lassie?!" I'm more of a cat person now...

alright, this isnt one for me...buy my best friend who is 20, STILL gets freaked out by the movie "IT". not just a little freaked out, but just by mentioning the movie he gets this look of horror on his face, especially when he's either drunk or high. its funny as fuck.
the weird thing is, he doesnt mind clowns all that much, just that movie. |
