"The Simpsons" Trivia
I'm starting this thread to test our trivia about the greatest TV show ever, The Simpsons.
The way it works is this: - One active question at a time. - The person who correctly answers the question gets to ask the next question - Questions should only be about characters and episodes, not the actors playing the parts, Matt Groening, or any of Groening's other projects (Futurama, Life in Hell, etc.) The Music Trivia thread in the Music forum works this way. Check it out if you have any questions.

Question #1:
In the "Night Terrors" episode, we find out what may have caused Waylon Smithers to live his "alternative lifestyle." What was it?

The only reference I can find to why Smithers might be homosexual is in the episode "The Blunder Years"
When Mr. Burns tells a very young Smithers that his father was killed by wild amazonian women instead of the real reason (exposure to heavy radiation.) They then crack a joke about "the lasting effect" it could've had on Smithers. That's it. That's all I got.

guthmund is correct. Sorry, I have no idea what any of the actual show titles are.
Anyways, guthmund gets to ask the next question.

Dr. Hibbert, Principal Skinner, Comic Book Guy, Professor Frink, that network broad from Krustylu (I think she's had at least two names, and I remember neither), and Lisa. Steven Hawking made an appearance, too.
Potentially a tough one... in the episode where the Springfield kids played Pee-Wee football, what were Rod & Todd's jersey numbers?

Sideshow Bob, Sideshow Mel, and Mr. Teeny. (The chain-smoking monkey...who also drives.)
What were the names of the Duff Garden Mascots? Edit: Oops, fhqwhgads beat me to it....the answer to his question is Ogdenville, North Havenbrook, and (not sure about this one) Brockway.

Someone else choose another question, I don't want to hold up the game. I'll let the seven Duffs question stick for a day or two then give the answer if nobody has gotten it.
EDIT: I'll give a hint. It was a trick question, there were only four mentioned. Anyone able to answer it now?

I used to know all seven- in the Hit & Run game, there's a sign on Moe's wall that has all their names. Again, that's the sort of thing that I'd have to look up.
A gimme, just to keep things active- How many times has Bender appeared on the Simpsons? Describe the scenes he appeared in. (think this still falls within the rules)

The only Bender cameo I remember was in the episode where Bart gets pushed back to 3rd grade while Lisa gets skipped to the 3rd grade. Bart is hallucinating various TV characters during a test, and Bender is among them. So, if the answer is one, let me know and I'll ask a question.

Close enough. He also appeared at the end of the episode where Homer turned missionary to avoid the wrath of PBS. He was answering phones on the Fox pledge drive along with Hank Hill, that dude from the PJs, and some others. Ask away, Rocky!

I also know of at least one cameo by Fry. In the intro to one of the episodes, at the couch scene, came to the couch through tubes, and Fry landed on the couch, then shot back up before (I think) Maggie shot back out.

Isn't Hans Moleman only 31? I can't seem to remember what episode that was in, but I remember hearing it somewhere. Also, Homer's barbershop quartet is the "Be Sharps".
--What is Principal Seymour Skinner's real name?
