i absolutely love Darth Vader, especially in Return of the Empire, sooooooo evil.

Also i love Darth Maul, double saber is the coolest thing i have ever seen, and a master of tera kasi. plus he looked like he would just eat people. i love evil

It's from Star Wars dot com, they got models to dress up as Expanded universe characters which is a cool idea. They've got a cool pic of Mara Jade too.

I think that my favorite character would have to be Vua Rapuung who is from the New Jedi Order.

However, if you're looking for a character that is from the movies and not from the expanded universe... I would have to go with:
The A-wing pilot that crashes through the bridge of the Executor (Super Star Destroyer) I forget his name off hand. meh.

Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi was the shit. He was wise and focused.

Count Dooku is pretty badass also from the newer movies and the mushy side of me really loves Queen Amidala and Leia.

Boba Fett - I mean, in the middle of a Space Opera, the guy comes in with his second-hand dinged-up space ship, his second-hand dinged-up armor, and kicks butt. Even the way he dies is un-dramatic and unfulfilling for the viewer.

He rocks.

Admiral Piett. I love him. He gets promoted every time somebody else fucks up and gets force-choked by Vader, and he never drops the ball until the Executor gets rammed by an A-Wing.
And I love the way he looks so nervous and hunted all the time. He's great.

um, you mean The Phantom Clones? or maybe The Empire Clones the Phantom Jedi, which has to be the best sci-fi sequel since The Wrath Of The Tribbles. :D

as for coolest character, um, i think if Young Master Skywalker and Solo were frozen in a block of ice they would be Cool Han Luke but that is an old joke. :p

i am going with Yoda for coolest character.

Grand Admiral Thrawn. Vader beats him on sheer badassness, and the Emperor beats him on the whole Evil Mastermind thing, but there's just something about a military genius who can guess his opponent's tactics by studying their artwork...

SPOILERS FOR THOSE NEW STAR WARS FANS WHO HAVE NOT READ THE X-WING ROGUE SQUADRON SERIES OR THE NEW JEDI ORDER SERIES!







Oh come on, nobody has mentioned Corran Horn?? Ya gotta love this guy, he's like the best of the Star Wars Characters rolled into one. His Corellian heritage makes him a smart ass like Han, his piloting skills is on par with Wedge's (eventually) he's the first one to own a Yuuzhan Vong leader in a one on one duel to the death, and he's got his Jedi powers, sure he misses out on the koolest Jedi power there is, Telekenesis, but hey, he can make you think an entire building is crashing down on you. His Dad was CorSec/Jedi, his in-laws are ALMOST (Booster Terrik) as interesting as Han Solo's (granted Han does have him beat there). And to top that all off he beat the Rogue Squadron version of the Kobiyashi Maru, the no win scenario, without changing the perameters of the rules. Did I mention he has a dual phase lightsaber? After all that, how can you dispute the great Corran Horn as the coolest of all characters? This coming from the guy who's wearing an all black tux with a deep green vest and tie to prom in honor of Corran.

Hmm...

Must be Darth Vader. Not as a gimped kid, but as a dark jedi with a wierd mask in the original 3 movies. :D

boba was not killed in the sarlac pit, he killed it with a thermal detonator, used his jetpack to get out, nearly died on the desert floor but was picked up by another bountry hunter looking for salvage and nursed back to heath.

read the bounty hunter chronicals it tells the story of boba VERY well

Thrawn is easily the coolest character in the Star Wars EU. Was the Emperor a better evil mastermind? I'm not so sure..Thrawn figured out how the Emperor was so successful and practically enslaved a Jedi Master clone to help him. Godamn Noghri...
