Well, with search unavailable at the moment, I'm not sure if there's a thread about this movie already.
Has anyone else seen this? It's got Steve Martin and Helen Bonheim Carter in it, and is one of the better movies I've seen in recent times. It's a very dark comedy, in the greek sense, about a dentist who is Spoiler: thrust into a plot to ruin him. When I first saw it, it reminded me somehow of Picasso at the Lapine Aguine (spellings off, I know) and I though Martin might of rented it, but no. Anyway, it's a wonderful movie in my opinion, and making the rounds on cable right now. Definately worth a viewing.

I wasn't too impressed with the movie. I got the vibe that it was close in vein with The Whole Nine Yards, which imo was a much better movie, both in the story and the enjoyment level.

I've seen it at the video store and have been meaning to give it a rent. I'm a fan of Steve Martin with everything he does (although I'm not sure about "Bringing down the house") so I'll at least give it a watch and see what it's all about.
