Hellboy Trailer!

Today the trailer for the Comic adaptation Hellboy was released on Yahoo Movies. Apparently there will be a quicktime download by monday, ill keep y'all updated.

http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id...362&cf=trailer

Im not sure if anyone here has read Hellboy, but this looks faithful to the comic character-wise. Ron Pearlman who plays Hellboy not only looks the part but gives the character the humor he needs. I think I'll enjoy it, but who knows, this is only the first look at this movie...a lot can change.

Enjoy

Edit: The quicktime version is up and blows the other one away

It's directed by Del Toro, which means it will be a good adaptation that will take place in the sewers half the time. I'll watch this simply because it looks like Hollywood decided to take a chance on it.

Harry Knowles can't stop raving about this film (mainly 'cause Arad and Del Toro are fucking him in the ass) ! Looks and sounds fantastic, I never would've thought they'd be able to capture HellBoy so well and still make him look 'real'.

I found out about this movie about a year ago, had never read the comic before (don't think we get it up here). I found it to be an awesome charachter and I've been following the news about it, looks fuckin' kick-ass! Make sure this movie hits hard in America, then there might be a chance I get to see it on the big screen here.

Whoa whoa whoa

Hate to go fanboy here but To the best of my recolection i thought his chops and horseshoe hair were just extreme shading (it's been a longggggggg time since I picked up a hell boy).

But i do have to give props to Ron Perlman playin hellboy... thats a natural fit.

Oh man, that trailer raised my expectations about six notches! This may just be my most anticipated "Hollywood" movie next year - so far, anyway.

Yeah, Apple finally has the trailer up. It actually does look like a lot of fun, but so did LXG. So while I'm excited, I'm not keeping my hopes too high.

Either way, Ron Perlman is a fantastic choice and Selma Blair couldn't look better.

I love Hellboy, and man this movie looks soooooo good. And faithfull to the source material while at the same time being accessable to people who are totally new to the character.

Personally I just love some of the attention to detail that the fanboys like me will notice (ie the fact that his horn stubbs are different lengths at different points in the trailer)

Yeah, apparently I hear that at one point they actually show him cutting off his horns with a circular saw. The detail is great, Ron Pearlman looks that part so well. We can only hope the plot is as good as the original comic plot. >crosses fingers<

Yeah I caught the trailer a couple of days ago and it did look really well done. Hopefully the movie can live up to its generated hype.

I read an interview with the director and he was pretty up front about the changes he made while adapting the story to film, He wasn't trying to hide anything that some people might not like.

Pearlman is perfect for this role
