I have never been a fan of skating, but this documentary written and directed by perralta is currently showing on STARZ and it is AWESOME!!! if you see it coming on, clear some time and watch. anyone born pre '75 will particularly enjoy this, but everyone shoud get a kick out of the 'dress drawer' skateboards. enjoy!

If you listen closely to the narrative (or even not that closely), you'll hear many, many points where Sean Penn screws up, coughs, mixes up words, etc. Sounds like he recorded the voice-over in a single take.

Still, cool movie.
