Map of Springfield
Came across a possible map of Springfield, USA.
These guys must have studied every episode of The Simpsons ... and have a lot of free time on there hands. Linked due to size |
well i was all about to bitch for posting "stupid stuff" but that was actually pretty darn cool. Yay for vector graphics!
That's pretty nifty.
I wonder where the rest of Springfields' houses are. It seems the Simpsons' neighborhood is the only one with homes, well, except for Springfield Residential Hills. Did anyone see Mr. Burns' mansion? |

That's cool....I wish I had that much free time!!
...why?
Obviously some guys had wwaaaaayyyyy too much time

That's pretty interesting. I'm just going to have to take their word for accuracy of it though. They even have the Monorail in there. It's not a very long route...
I was trying to figure out how to print it out, obviously not on one single page due to size, but it'd be an interesting thing to look at while bored
i love how Mr Burns lives on Mammon Lane.
gotta love John Milton. ¨Mammon led them on, Mammon, the least erected Spirit that fell from heav´n, for even in heav´n his looks and thoughts were always downward bent, admiring more the riches of Heav´n´s pavement, trodd´n gold, than aught divine or holy else enjoy´d in vision beatific:¨ this map is intense!! thanks for posting, and thanks to the crazy guys who did this. |
wow, that was pretty spiffy! thanks.
WHERE IS NED FLANDERS?!
That's cool. I now know where "Stoner's Pot Palace" is, even though Otto says they use false advertising.

Of course, the Simpsons is never consistent. There was one episode where Homer had to park in the very last parking spot at the power plant, which was just behind the Simpsons' house. According to this map, that's impossible.
gotta love the Simpsons for their ability to skew something as simple as directions =P

The map is interesting though. Somebody sure had a lot of time on their hands. |
ahhh that's AWESOME! :D
first place i looked for was Moe's ;) |
Very cool! The Matlock Expressway is my favorite part of the map, right up there with the lower East side of Springfield. Just an awesome map.
Wow! That's impressive!
But someone needs to get out of their basement, and go on a date... With a real girl... |
thats pretty cool
wow.. very cool.. thanks for the post!

Hmm, missing the Knitting and Button shops as well as the Bookmobile lady's house next to the Fortune Megastore ;p
lol that's AWESOME!
Woah. As a guide to Springfield the map is probably useless, as there's so many inconsistencies in The Simpsons. But as a listing of cool places/people that have appeared on the show, it's great =) Thanks for sharing.
But if there wern't people with too much free time, all this cool stuff wouldn't get made! I say, "Stay in your basement and keep up the good work!"
I wonder if this map is the same one from the new simpsons driving game (the GTA inspired one)

What's the name of Comic Book Guys' shop?
That is pretty cool..Probably just a couple of ComicBook Shop Guys sitting together eating congealed burritos-debating bout where exactly to put the Simpsons house.

ha, awesome. utterly pointless. but awesome.
First thing I looked for was the Power Plant.
They should base a Grand Theft Auto 3 game off of this map. |
