ESPN's Playmakers

Anybody else watch this show? I know it's a little over the top but I love it! My favorite character has to be D.H. just because he has so many issues. My least fav character is the linebacker guy who has a shrink and problems with his dad. Can't remember his name off hand but anyway....it's a great show.

I have been watching. It's pretty good. A little stereotypical but I think they've done a better job seperating themselves from Any Given Sunday than I expected.

I have to disagree with all of you. The show just reeks of bad acting and stereotypes. I would've like to have seen LT, Michael Irvin, Reggie White, Don Shula, and Steve Grogan in some version of the Real World where Reggie is the bible-thumper trying to change LT's ways but get frustrated when LT eats his peanut butter. Then, to lighten things up, Shula and Grogan go to court to get a restraining order against Grogan's ex-girlfriend who is stalking him. At the end of the show, Michael and Reggie do coke together praising Jesus for giving them enough coke to kill and elephant.

Oops, I guess I got away from the subject. Any how, I don't dig Playmakers.

I really like the show. The little twists can be a bit much, but in general, I like the way it's written.

i think its a great show. but a lot of critics keep trying to relate this to the nfl and thats why a lot of reviews are negative...

but its NOT trying to mimic any nfl team. its a drama. at least..thats what espns telling the media.

i cant help to see the resemblance with the playmakers owner and jerry jones (dallas cowboys).

Good show. Yeah it is a little over the top, but hey, it's a soap opera. The owner does remind me of Jerry Jones also.

The show is growing on me more and more each week. Last week's episode was pretty good, and it made me look forward to this weeks.

I think the show does have too many stereotypes, and that it also is a bit too dramatic at times. However, I am enjoying the first season of it. I wish there was more football and less drama in it sometimes.

It's not a football show exactly though. They are trying to show the behind the scenes aspect of the football lifestyle.
