1. ABC
2. CBS 3. NBC 4. FOX 5. WB I'd list more, but we're only asked for five . . . |
The Osbourns is the worst idea for a TV show in the history of TV. I don't understand why it's still on television. These people should have been drown in their own idiocy by now.
|
- All sitcoms... they were funny when I was younger, but now they're predictable and boring.
- Jiminy Glick - Oh look, it's a fat guy with a funny voice, who's not very smart. It's a laugh riot. Uproarious. - Dismissed - Cribs - Jay Leno, the most unfunny person alive. - Oprah. I'd respect her more if she'd use her influence over fat women to start a cult, and "catch a starship" a few years later. I'll even buy the Kool-Aid. - Dr. Phil. I'm not sure if this guy still has his own show, but I wish he would disappear from the face of the Earth, or at least my TV set. - BET's Comicview. If you want stand-up comedy, watch Comedy Central. I love stand-up, and before my cable provider carried Comedy central this shit was the only stand-up on TV. Maybe it's just "black" humour and I don't get it, but I really don't get it. - Jerry Springer. Other talk shows can be a decent distraction with moderate entertainment value, but Springer sucked long before he got "big" a few years ago. It just seems so fake and pointless. - Howard Stern's E! Show, but only the episodes entirely devoted to naked girls coming on. What is the point of those shows? "Wow, that chick's got a nice stomach and face, too bad the parts I really want to look at are blurred out." I guess it's a step up from radio... And while I'm talking about Howard Stern, I should add "Howard Stern's Jerkoff" to the list. It was basically just a special episode of his normal show, but imitated Jackass in every way, from the logo to the content and editing style. But Stern still has the nerve to sue "Hot or Not" (ABC?) because he claims that they are ripping him off, not to mention the constant complaining on his radio show about the "Howard Stern clones" on the radio. You invented a genre, Howard. Hoo-hoo-hoo, Robin. (if anyone wants to discuss this further, start a thread or lemme know and I will. I don't want to hijack this one) |
Hers Mine:
1. An show on MTV. 2. Any show on ABC 3. Friends 4. Those stupid reality shows on Fox 5. Saturbay Night liveand any other show like it |
Any reality TV show, soap opera, or the Simpsons (and Everybody Loves Raymond).
|
fear factor
anything with a title like "america's funniest football injuries" dinotopia buffy the fucking vampire slayer |
chalk up another vote to eradicate will and grace, and add me to the list of those offended by the suggestion that the simpsons should be cancelled.
|
yeah the simpsons are quite good. and i like the croc hunter myself.
All reality tv should die. Thats basically my only gripe. |
People still watch TV? ::baffled:: :: once again scratches head::
"Three's Company" is really horrible and encourages stupid behavior. Also that Mr. Roper is consistently the most despicable character in the show. Aside from that? "Friends" is ok, I don't know what so many people rag on that show. |
Will and Grace. That show is so fucking overrated.
-Lasereth |
Friends.
Survivor. Real World. Road Rules. Any type of "Challenge" show between the above two. Most of MTV's shows. Yeah the Osbournes was funny for a couple seconds. Why it got renewed for a second season is beyond me. Oh wait, I know why BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS FUCKING WATCHING IT. In fact this is why most stupid shows stay on the air. In fact if you don't like a show stop watching. In fact stop watching T.V. altogether. In fact this gives me an idea for a new thread. |
Anything on Monday and Saturday nites except football.
|
Osbournes, Springer, judge shows, will and grace, slamball, mtv, sportscenter, marry my dad, cupid, and american idol
|
Re: Re: What are some the worst TV shows still on the air?
Quote:
Exactly. I couldnt agree more. Talk about the most complete waste of time. Tis a silly concept. But the networks are laughing all the way to the bank because of those. |
1. Everybody Loves Raymond--NOT FUNNY!
2. Friends--NOT FUNNY! 3. ER--Should have been taken off life support years ago 4. Will and Grace--NOT FUNNY! 5. Anything on ABC that isn't Monday Night Football--as long as you keep the sound down |
I would blast everything but the Iron Chef
|
In my opinion, every "Reality" show should go, except Monster Garage and Monster House on the Discovery Channel. Those are barely reality shows and the end result of each episode is usually something cool.
The rest of the bad shows I can deal with by not watching them. "Reality" shows annoy me because they are not reality but unscripted fiction. I believe that MTV is the root of all this crappy reality TV. They started it with Real World and Road Rules. |
UPN. just kill it, honestly.
|
The reality shows of today seem to be the replacement for the soap opera shows in the 50's. They are going for the 15-30 age group. Personally, I can't stand reality shows and don't wach any of them.
|
Survivor...and ANYTHING similar. Put it to rest people.
|
Hate to say this but Simpsons and Seinfeld reruns are a lot more entertaining than 99% of what's on.
1. Hollyweird Square-heads. 2. Everbody Hates Raymond. 3. Bitch Judy. 4. Big Borether (and the rest of the "reality" trash). 5. Jimmy Kimmel (It's early but it's soooooo excruciatingly bad). |
Anything on the WB and UPN is usually horrible.
|
The only "reality show" that has any merit to it is American Chopper, that's one hella cool show man. Now for my list
1.) The Croc Hunter-I'm amazed that this guy is still alive, much less the host of his own show. 2.) America's Funniest Home Videos-It's the same stuff from when Bob Saget was on the show, nothing new here guys. 3.) Roseanne-The bitch needs to die. 4.) Trading Places-Why would you turn your house over to complete strangers? (granted I love Monster House, but at least something really cool is done to your house, not just different paint and decor). 5.) ER-It's done, no more, please! |
what is up with the urban legend show on mtv. the imbecile narrator tries to rhyme every dumb comment he makes. did a show really need to be created to assure people that sneezing does not lead to eye-popping out blindness?
|
The View. As long as adults are running things, shows such as this can remain popular.
|
the glut of reality shows is driving me fuckin' nuts. chuck 'em all.
|
anything on mtv that isn't a music video
|
Any and all "reality" shows. It ain't survivor unless somebody DIES!
|
Will and Grace - has some moments but just not funny...
Reality TV, Most especially Survivor lots of stuff on MTV Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended last year so no new episodes from that... To be honest I like Everybody Loves Raymond... As cheesy as it is, its still one of the most 'real' sitcoms I've seen. |
Any "reality" TV show.
|
Whats the one with host "talking" to dead relatives of the crowd members? That is the stupidest show ever, so glad that South Park dissed em and called the host the biggest douch in the universe cause that is one crooked show
|
Any daytime talk show especially The View.
|
1. ALL reality TV shows absolutely must GO. Period.
2. Everybody Loves Raymond (I just cannot fathom why this show is so popular). Also, I know they're both in syndication now, but I never ever saw what was so damned funny about Home Improvement or Seinfeld. 3. I know I'm probably gonna get flamed a crispy golden brown for this one, but all anime (including child, adult and otherwise) really irritates the living hell out of me. And yes, I really have tried to watch it on several occasions. 4. Sex and the City. It used to be pretty good, but I wish HBO would just wrap up the flippin thing like they said they were going to, already!! Quit dragging it out. No one cares anymore. 5. Just about anything on MTV nowadays. Do they even show music videos anymore? |
Just repeating with others have said for the most part -
Reality TV shows must DIE. Anime - The stories may be great, but I can not stand the style of animation. Any home decorating show Everything on MTV (and VH1 for that matter... I thought these were TV stations based around music... where's the music? VH1 still has some I guess.) Talk shows such as Dr. Phil, Oprah and the likes. |
Punk'd
Ashton Kutcher is just a dick. |
The John Edwards show.
Scare Tactics |
Network and local news broadcasts. They're supposed to be reporting the news in an unbiased way, NOT making news themselves.
|
-Reality TV, the number one reason why I don't watch much TV.
|
reality TV - But not till I finish film school, okay?
|
Any reality show and the WWF
