John Woo starring Chow Yun-Fat
Pretty much any movie directed by John Woo starring Chow Yun-Fat will be on the list.
A Better Tomorrow II (remake of A Better Tomorrow with bigger budget) A Better Tomorrow *avoid A Better Tomorrow III *also avoid The Replacement Killers Full Contact starring Chow Yun-Fat directed by Ringo Lam God of Gamblers starring Chow Yun-Fat (slow middle sections, and tense gambling) The Corruptor starring Chow Yun-Fat (bit less action, and more character, but still very good) Seven Samuri Big Trouble In Little China Das Boot: The Director's Cut Conan the Barbarian *Find the widescreen version, not cropped The Terminator Terminator II Enter the Dragon *Director's Cut any other Bruce Lee movie Nowhere to Hide starring Jang Dong-Kun, Ahn Sung-Ki and directed by Lee Myung-se (anime) Ninja Scroll Fist of the North Star |

Some old favorites:
Cliffhanger- John Lithgow plays a detestable asshole, who I just wish I could get my hands on. That's to his credit; I love the guy in everything else. Broken Arrow- No less than 3 helicopter explosions! Legend of the Drunken Master- Nuff said.
