one of the things that I noticed is that the director sucked ass because he has WAAAAAY too many cuts and jumps. The camera never lingered for more than a few seconds at a time.

They had prepared a video tribute but it didn't run due to some technical difficulty. You could see part of the video running in the background/screens but you couldn't hear the sound. Kelly Osbourne figured it out and picked up where the video would've left off. I hope they will still show it in some future installment of the Best of VMA or I'll be even more disappointed.

i agree girl on girl action is hot, but madonna doesn't do it for me. Probably what annoyed me the most was when they cut to see justin's reaction, and he was just boppin his head like a fool. I mean... if he got all shocked or had some reaction I might want to see it (but I still wouldn't care), but he hardly flinched.

and his ugly mug cut into the girls kissing... what the hell??

I just changed the channel after that...

I dunno what the big deal is. Back in the 80's you might not have expected it, even from Madonna, but in this day and age I for one don't find it anything unusual or special. Especially from Madonna.

It's lame. It's what 14-year old girls do at parties to get guys attention. Too bad the only message this sens out is "It's okay being slutty for attention".

I find it funny that most of the people find this so "shocking".
Majority of people still refuse to let the idea go of Brittany and Christina are still "squeeky clean kids" and don't see the fact that they aren't 19 years old anymore. So, why are most of you debating whether or not the kiss was real? THIS is 2003 A.D.

Seems that entertainment has to come the point where the person(s) willing to do the most outrageous, often stupidest things, are those that end up being the most successful.
