Has anyone ever seen a Campy little film called "Forbidden Zone"? It's one of the best/strangest films I've had the pleasure of watching.

It was made by Danny Elfman when his first band "The Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo" was about to break up. They decided to do one last project, and Forbidden Zone was the outcome. Includes Jenna Elfman (Supposidly) as Frenchy, the Singing French High School student who wears a Bathrobe everywhere she goes. The midget from the Fantasy Island (Hervé Villechaize) as the King of the Forbidden Zone who plays the trumpet as has a lovely Sex scene with the Queen of Forbidden Zone. Aslo in the cast is a Princess who runs around topless and threatens her prisoners with Whips and Chains, Squezit the Chicken Boy, and Danny Elfman as Satan.

Definetly a Must See.

Never seen it. Always wanted to. I thought it was directed by Richard Elfman though.

He has another "great" film Shruken Heads which I have seen. It's actually better that expected.

I see that there are several copies of it on ebay. is it worth picking up?

Richard directed it, while Danny Elfman wrote most of it and did all of the Music

I'd definetly say it was worth picking up if it's under 25$.

I have the LP soundtrack... BIG Boingo fan... shame they went the way of the wooden nickel, but hard to keep a band together when you are doing all them soundtracks...

My X was absolutely in love with this movie, I was never really a big fan, but the music in it is great. I don't know if I would bother buying a copy, but its definitely worth renting, if nothing else just for the one scene where they have a man who they are using as a chandelier. (it comes out very well, both stylish and cool)
