Looking for "Worst Witch" DVD/VHS...Anyone know any links??? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Hey there...I am looking for a present...he wants the Worst Witch dvd's or tapes...he watches it every weekday at 5PM here and at 8PM on Saturdays and Sundays...a bit obsessed I think maybe???

Anyways I wanted to get him the whole 4 seasons...AT LEAST the first 2 DVD seasons since they would be the easiest to get...

Does anyone know of another place to get the DVD's BESIDES Amazon.com???
Is there a place that sells them cheaper???
Does anyone have the season 3 and 4 recorded on tapes???

I have done some research and here's all I know about the DVD's and tapes:

There are 4 seasons (3 Worst Witch & 1 Worst Sister College)
Season 1 and 2 come in DVD's and tapes which can be gotten at Amazon.com (That's the only place I seen them anyways)
The UK has a "Best Of" DVD that has some episodes from all 3 WW seasons...it's only for the UK region tho (no prob for me cause I've made mine region free and I can prolly make his region free too)
There is a different Worst Witch movie which has Fairuza Balk and Tim Curry...I think it's VHS only and is PAL format...it was made in 1986...wouldn't mid having this one too

OK...I guess what I am asking you guys is do you know where I can get the Season 1 & 2 DVD set anywhere cheaper than Amazon??? I've been looking around and actually found one place but they jacked up the s/h and it turned up higher than Amazon...and has anyone recorded the 3rd and 4th season of it??? I'm sure he'd like those since they aren't played in USA...I'm sure Season 4 isn't played here but I don't THINK season 3 is played either...only 1 and 2...oh yeah...and the other movie with Balk and Curry can be gotten on eBay for a cheap price...I don't think it can be found any cheaper than eBay...so I might get that if I can't get anything else...so any help would be...ummm...helpful...THANX

FYI -- I just did a search for it on mysimon.com and a bunch of places that sell all four seasons popped up.

I checked mysimon just now...don't know why I didn't remember to check that site...I always check that site for vids and stuff...anyways season 3 and 4 sets don't come up with any results...same with Amazon...Amazon listed them but said they were "out of stock"...

I don't know if they were even made into dvd's or not...I've heard that there once was a season 3 and 4 dvd set but it no longer exists and I also heard that they were thinking about releasing them but never did and I also heard that they never existed PERIOD...

as for season 1 and 2 I see that deep discount dvd has the lowest price...I had to buy a Beowulf movie from them once for a high school project and it took that place forever to deliver it to me...but it DID get to me...anyone have any comments about Deep Discount DVD??? I see that reselleratings.com has given them an 8.06 so far...that's good but I don't know...

As for season 3 and 4 does ANYONE know a place that I could get the DVD's??? How about tapes??? Or tapes that you have recorded of those seasons??? Or maybe you know of someone that is a WW fan and has season 3 and 4 tapes recorded or something??? THANX

well crap...I just realized that the collection set's are NOT the complete season...kinda retarded if ya ask me...they should have season 1 in set 1 and etc...interesting...hmmm...just done more researching and I see that it takes two sets to make 1 season...the only season on DVD is set 1 & 2...interesting...that leaves 3 & 4 which is listed in many sites but not a single picture of the case or any instock or anything...it's almost as if it was announced that they were gonna be released but they never were...so does ANYONE have recordings of Seasons 2, 3, and/or 4??? PLEASE???? ANYONE??? THANX
