Cops... and stuff
I love watching 'Cops.' I don't think there's another show out there that makes me feel so appreciative of where I'm at right now. No, I've never stolen cars and ensued high speed police chases or anything. But I have definitely driven with various illegal substances on me in the past. Sometimes just a little. Other times, more than enough to be considered a felony. The show reminds me that all it takes is once, to have your life thoroughly fucked. Forever. Done. No more job. No more family. Nada. I'm glad I've since 'growed up.'
Are there any shows for you that hit you this way? Maybe you just enjoy watching other people in worse situations than yourself? Nothing to be ashamed about - it's entertainment. |

Watching people in worse situations than me makes me depressed.
And I hate watching Cops because it is a joke of a one sided display of how cops actually behave.

The cops on TV treat criminals and wife beaters better than they treat me and I've only ever had to deal with them as a victim of a crime. State police are the worst.. The sheriff and deputies have some pretty decent people but man those KSP are assholes.

COPS is my favorite TV show by a long shot.

We watch Cops very often but CourtTV plays the same damn episodes over and over. There's 20 years of episodes so I don't get why they keep playing the same ones.
