I wouldn't be at all surprised if a documentary about the making of this film would be more interesting than the film itself. I'm dying to know how they did it!

It's released today. I d/l the video because it was lagging on the servers earlier today.

The first few minutes look quite good.... but I'm distracted by 3 other things... BBQ ribs that I made, Left4Dead, and WoW.

I watched the whole thing last night, and it was very well done. Simple short story, fell in between other stories. It worked out well. The production as good, make up good, editing well, effects good... even Gollum was good portrayed well.

give these guys some money and I'm sure they will do something with it....

For those who are interested, there is another fan film based on The Lord of the Rings entitled Born of Hope. It takes place after The Return of the King.

I just got 10 nerd points for watching a fan film on a Friday night.

It was pretty impressive but they needed to lengthen the dialog and the simple parts. It just goes to show how much attention to every single detail goes into a major motion picture now.
