Arnold
Although Terminator 3 will do well this summer, Arnold hasn't had much success since...Terminator 2.
What would you rather see happen... Terminator 4? Arnold goes back to comedy--Kindergarten Cop II?? Ladies and Gentleman, the new Gov. of California...Arnold!???? |

Terminator 4 all the way baby!! Arnold is still the man in his increasing years. Can't wait for T3 this week, gonna be waitin' at the theater just like we did for Reloaded.
The 6th Day was pretty good.

I've been hearing mixed things about T3 but I will check it out. I did see one thing with Arnold on T3. Since he is much older now than he was from the previous T movies, he worked his ass off to get his body to look the same. Thats impressive.
I would like to see Conan 3. Apparently there is a script floating around and hes reading it. Would be kick ass. Arnold for Gov. of California would be great. Our current gov. is a...how can i put this delicately.....a miserable piece of crap.

I'm not sure if there's a better way to summarize Arnold's career!!! Of course everyone has their own tastes, but you generally don't have many surprises with this man. Your first reaction is usually the correct one!! |

I've read mixed opinions. Some think it's going to blow ass, some think its going to rock ass. I think its going to be ok. I doubt it'll live up to the hype, but Kristanna Loken is extremely hot and sex sells, darn it. My pal and I are gonna go tomorrow morning to buy our tickets

I am not going to spend a penny on T3.
And if you ask me, I only want Arnold to do a Conan movie. I think it's one of his best with The Terminator. Altough I still love to watch Predator form time to time. His time has come to a end just like Stalone. |

No success? What do you call that little film True Lies then?!
From all I've seen and heard via leaked and not so leaked material concerning T3 the movie sounds like it will be excellent. After he makes Westworld, King Conan and Total Recall 2 I wish Arnold all the best in his run for Californian Governor. |

I'd prefer Arnie going back to being the Big Bad Robot.
In all his latest films, he's somehow had to be nice to children, and he just can't do it. It's really scary to watch him interact with children. Just watch him feeding the deer in the beginning of Commando, or taking a shower in Collateral Damage.

T3 was awesome... not as good plot wise as T2... but it still had a lot of plot points that were interesting to the 'T' universe... and the action was brutal...

I liked most of his movies.
I didn't like Red heat, although I never really watched it I didn't like Last action hero at first but it keeps getting better and better everytime I watch it. I didn't like end of days.. and thats about all.. I'd rather see True Lies 2, Conan 3 or some new original action movie.

King Conan, supposedly in the works now. The best thing in life is to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!!

Actually, I said "little success". Yes, True Lies did well. As did "Total Recall" and others....however... Since the original "Terminator", he has been featured in movies such as "Red Sonja", "Raw Deal", "Junior", "Eraser", "Jingle All The Way". Even "End of Days" and "The 6th Day" didn't enjoy great box office success. |

Arnold hasn't been a huge smash at the domestic box office but he continues to rule in the foreign territories. As a result his films still make enough money to warrant his huge salaries.
The problem here is that the day for his type of hero has long past. I would love to see another Conan movie but it would probably suck. The original Conan movies were relatively low budget films that were dripping in cheese. Arnold's ego and the studio accountants wouldn't allow a film like that to be made (considering what they'd have to pay him to be in it).

Do you always hit the mark on everything you do? I myself am lucky that I get close.
Arnold is the quintessential american. An immigrant that came here barely speaking english (watch Hercules in New York) but strived to reach where he is today. But c'mon a few bad movies.... like deflok said.... 3 billion dollars... not many actors can claim that.

When he hits, he hits big--no doubt about it.
Remember my initial question....would you want him to hit the usual popular notes, branch out into something different (regardless of the success), or stick to politics? I apologize to Mr. Shriver, if I've offended.

Saw T3 this weekend. Have you tell you guys...it was actually pretty good. I had my doubts. A female terminator? But you know what? She did a great job. She was hardcore. Great action sequences and the ending is good. I recommend it. Excellent Matinee price movie.
