Clone Wars on Cartoon Network
Anyone watch this last night? Animation was great. The story was a bit....eh...
The empire droids had way way way too much personality, Yoda came across as too cocksure and it looked like he could fight the whole empire by himself and win, he was too....powerful. I was hoping it would be good. I don't think I'll watch any more episodes. |

It is aimed at the 12 and under demographic. I haven't seen it yet, but will see it later this week as the Tivo harvests it for me.
I'm not expecting much more than the movie which was also aimed at the 12 and under set. I can say that when I look at it from the adult lens, it doesn't work. But as a child, and I remember to look at it as I did the original Star Wars, it was phenomenally entertaining. I'll expect the same from the series.

My almost 9 year old said he really liked it.
I saw a brief bit of it but the personal appeal for me is even less then Episode III, which I still have no motiviation at all to watch after suffering through the other prequels.
