Kevin Smith is a damn genius, and as much as I love the whole clerks universe, I'm excited about something that doesn't have Jay and Silent Bob (didn't see jersey girl, not gonna see it ever).

I'm stoked to see this.

See this movie immediately. *****, two thumbs up, 10/10. The allusions to Smith's other movies are subtle and wonderful (if you're a fan of them), the jokes are great, the dialogue is fun. As we've come to expect from Smith, the plot is pretty basic and not too exciting, but that doesn't stop this from being a wonderful movie.

Did you hate Clerks 2 and think that Smith had nothing left in him? I did. Well, welcome to Zack and Miri, where all your dreams come true.

I thought it was alright if all you wanted was semi-porn like any of the american pie series, but otherwise... The story.... Spoiler: Well there wasn't really any surprises to it, and they never did finish it... This movie was about them making a porn to make some money, but where they left off the porno wasnt done and they were still poor... Yes they were in love, but that wasn't the only part of the movie that needed to be finished... I don't think it was terrible, it was funny, but I also don't think it was great. Just my $0.02.

I'm SURE I'll love this movie, but I can't get the bad taste out of my mouth that Kevin Smith is just riding on the coat-tails of Judd Apatow. He basically has the same cast, and its basically a JA style story, so I'm sure a lot of people are going into this thinking its by Apatow who are fans of him.

Well usually when you include "but where they left off..." in a sentence implies that you're speaking about the end of the of the movie. And no, they did not tell us the end of the movie in the trailer.
