Biggest loser
I always look forward to the new season of Biggest Loser. You don't have to be overweight or out of shape to really get into this show. I am in great shape and actually competing in a triathlon on Sunday. Although the show is not based on "reallity" since on one has 6 hours a day to work out and a personal trainer to push them to exercise and eat right, it is still motivating to see someone who weighs 300 or 400 pounds drop half of their body weight and become healthier.
Anybody else out there like the show? |
I always walk on the treadmill while watching this show. I just can't make myself sit on the couch stuffing my face with potato chips and let my ass widen while these people work out and lose 7lbs a week.
Also, I get super depressed and stop watching the first time a guy about my height weighs less than me (usually 3/4 of the way into the season) |
Dave and I watch them all too....and yeah I usually end up depressed lol but like you said, they have so many advantages....I wish they'd show more of the "after they go home" stuff

It's back!!! Good cast this season too.

I love watching biggest loser. It always makes me want to work out while I watch, even though I inevitably sit on the couch and eat unhealthy crap that I don't eat normally. The coolest thing about the show is that these morbidly disgustingly obese people lose weight only through diet and excercise, no surgery, no drugs, pills, medication. Of course, they can stay at the ranch, and have trainers yelling at them and coaching them and they don't have real life to deal with, but it shows that it can be done. Inspiring.
