Apparently, the DVD will be out "before Christmas." Hopefully they'll reword that to "before September."
*waits ever-so-patiently*

Well, if it helps, Whedon has said multiple times that the DVD will include cast and crew commentary that is entirely sung, from beginning to end. I am way, way too excited for that.

Entirely sung commentary? That's awesome!
And so this post isn't entirely too fangirl-ish: Dr. Horrible: An Oral History -- cool article from Entertainment Weekly that I found while looking for updates.

That makes me giggle.
Also, it's available for free again... but with "limited commercial interruption." Hulu - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog w00t! Edit: The limited commercial interruption was just two... a very short "brought to you by..." at the very beginning, and a 20 second commercial in between Acts 2 & 3. Good deal.

I'd never heard about this until a few days ago. I'm really behind the times.
That being said, I watched all 3 episodes for the first time today, and really enjoyed it all. I was pretty impressed by the music and the singing, and the overall production was very polished and well-done. I'm hoping this is the beginning of something great, but if not, then it still was an enjoyable show. And I too, like Captain Hammer, hate the homeless. |

...ness problem.
I've been walking around singing several of the songs...which is a little irritating, since I don't know all the words (yet.) I can't wait until they release the soundtrack, since my iPod appears to have rather unceremoniously gone kaput.

My best friend got me the DVD for Christmas... woohoo! I haven't watched "Commentary: The Musical" yet, but did see a few of the applications for the Evil League of Evil. Some are pretty lame... the first one is absolutely hilarious.

Destroying the status quo. Because the status is Not quo. The world is a mess, and I just need to rule it." Enjoy

Finally watched it last night at a party! Took me long enough -_-
Gosh is it ever awesome. Neil has a great voice too, just, wow. My jaw kept dropping. Then we watched all the extras on the DVD, some of those ELE videos were great! The puppet priest was hilarious, so was the very first one. Now, just the beginning of the Bad Horse Chorus is stuck in my head though, I keep singing it to myself. :P |

For those of you who listened to the Musical Commentary, and are wondering, "What on Earth is this "Ninja Ropes" thing they're singing about?"
Here it is: Ninja Ropes Extreme for iPhone

Thanks red! If you're NYC you may not have known about this particular screening and Q&A with Joss. I decided to not go when I heard about it as I've got so much on my plate at the moment. I do wish that I had decided to go. It probably will be a fun time.
Buffyfest: NYC Dr. Horrible screening and Q&A with Joss Whedon ---------- Post added at 11:12 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 AM ---------- one of the funniest applicants to the Evil League of Evil
