this was on tv recently, i hadn't seen it in many years. damn, i forgot how much i liked this movie. this is the movie that made me like brad pitt. i liked the whole "time travel see yourself paradox" and the story itself.

the only thing i never understood, and still don't, was the scratchy voice that referred to bruce willis as "bob." what/who was that?

anyone remember it? anyone like it?

Based on the very cool film, La Jetee... Both are quite good.

I liked it a lot as well. However, it is one of those films that's only great once and loses its magic with subsequent viewings.

i dig it. still one of my faves.

It's actually my favorite Gilliam film (yeah yeah, I know ... Brazil is my second). Don't know what I like about it, but is just kind of resonates with me.

i dont like terry gilliam. i dont know what happened......i did......then i didn't any more.

but la jetée is amazing.
a far better film. in every way.
see it before you say anything.

I saw Brazil with my GF when it was in the movie theatre... then she broke up with me. I saw it on video with my next GF, and she broke up with me. I didn't show it to my next GF, and I'm married to her now.

I liked 12 Monkeys as well, but sorry Squeeeb, I don't remember that bit. I only saw it once.

i saw most of this film on tv once. i really liked it, but i didn't think that it met the expectations i had based on what other people had said about it. still pretty cool, though. you can't really go wrong with bruce willis and brad pitt

Yeah, the "Bob" thing was always strange to me. Especially when it was the bum in the bad part of town. Odd...
