SOLARIS (aka, the movie starring George Clooney's naked butt)
 

Well, I saw this (on DVD) a couple of days ago and it isn't as bad as some reviews said it was. It is an incredibly slow movie that is nowhere near a "sci-fi thriller" that it was marketed as, but the way that it approaches questions of creation, purpose of human existence, and God is pretty interesting. It's a good watch as long as you don't expect it to be what it isn't -- a movie with action or suspense.

I liked it actually. It was billed to be something other than what it was but it was interesting. Just like Gattaca when it came out didn't get very good reviews but I though was actually very good.

I didn't realize it was out. I am going to rent it next week. Thanks.

Just bought this on dvd had mixed reviews will give it a try this week though.

I went to see it in the movie theaters back in December and my whole family walked out of the movie after 30 minutes.

My wife and I would have walked out after 30 minutes, but we were already comatose by then.

I never walk out of a movie ... why even do that, just throw your money away then or give it to some poor lad
