New Cloverfield Trailer!!

Some of you may remember a 30 second clip of an unnamed movie showing Manhattan destruction and the head of the Statue of Liberty landing several miles from the body on a street full of people. Well, the name of it is Cloverfield and it's JJ Abrams' new baby. Here's a new trailer for it. Looks pretty sweet.

Did anyone notice that the head of one of the soldiers in the movie is blurred out? What could that mean?? To me, it implies that the movie is footage that has been recovered after the disaster, but has gone through some sort of government/military censoring body, and we're watching the edited version.

For the last many years, I've only gone to the movie theater to see children's animation. I might have to make an exception for this.

This is either going to be the greatest or the worst movie of the last decade. I see no room for mediocrity.

Reminds me of Blair Witch... JJ Abrams has some pretty good ideas so we'll see.

Amazing idea to make it filmed like this, it has to be impossibly hard to pull it off versus a conventionally filmed movie. This could truly be a great movie, or as others said, shitty.

I'd be creamin my shorts about this if I wasn't already nautious after a 2 minute preview. 2 hours of that might be a little much.

I think that movie looks pretty bad ass. I agree that that much shaky camera could really get on the nerves but lets see how it turns out.
