I thought it was great. Any good comedy needs a solid (I said solid, not deep) story and I felt this had it; I wanted and cared to know how things would play out.
I liked that it made high-school feel as awkward as it was for me.

God I was laughing so hard it was starting to hurt. I can't remember ever laughing that hard in a movie theater.

One of the funniest movies ever.
And unlike the american pie movies, they didn't have to gloss over the lack of a plot with giant amounts of breasts and slap stick humor. Although, if a sequel were made about college, I wouldn't mind more titty. |

it was perhaps one of the funniest movies I've ever seen; I would say the best of the three Judd/Seth films to date. I loved 40 year old Virgin but it lacked something. And Knocked Up was good but I felt it lost momentum because of the seriousness of the situation; it's hard to make a lot of those subjects funny, and I give them props for making it about 90% hilarious, but that other ten percent I was uncomfortable. This film was just perfect. I even think the sub-plot was the best part (at times). Very good film. Solid.
It reminded me a lot of Undeclared which is still one of the best shows to only last a season.

I really really loved this movie. There were so many great lines, but I think what I liked more than anything was the high level of awkwardness throughout the entire movie... it kept the anticipation up and it seemed like you were constantly on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next moment where you could burst out laughing again. Definitely going to buy the DVD.

Best movie of the summer, hell year, for me for two reasons: 1) unrelenting humor 2) they made me care about the boys being able to obtain the booze more than most movies make me care about death/end of a relationship/end of the world.
