Welcome. I agree these movies would have probably done better apart, but then we may have missed the incredible trailers.

The trailers were still present in the split versions. Half in one half in the other. Those trailers were half the fun of Grindhouse. Removing those would just be depressing.

I enjoyed it. The second movie more so.

Across the country?

That's too bad. The whole point of this was for it to be a double feature.
I'm glad I saw it opening weekend.
A great experience.

Well, I saw it today at the dollar movies and it was not split up and it was glorious.

They did split them up, but some theaters still had the full Grindhouse.
