Question about Clerks 2

The only question I have about this movie is this:

What the hell is the name of that song that makes Jay do his "Oh!" thing and put on the chapstick all sensually?

That song is hilarious.

It's the same song that was played in "Silence of the Lambs" when the serial killer danced naked.

"It puts the lotion in the basket"

The song is called "Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus.

As NoSoup indicated, the scene is a parody of the scene in "Silence of the Lambs" in which Buffalo Bill puts on make up, his skin suit and does the tuck, seductively asking, "Would you fuck me? I'd fuck me."

And yes, I have see "Silence of the Lambs" way too many times.

Silence of the Lambs ruined that song for me. I can't listen to it now without hearing "I'd fuck me" in my head.

However, it was funny listening to the 14 year olds laugh in the theatre at that scene in Clerks 2, since it's likely none of them have seen Silence of the Lambs.

I thought it was one of the funniest parts of the movie....and the whole thing was damn funny. I espically liked how Spoiler: Jay tucked his junk in like Jame 'Buffalo Bill' Gumb. It was reallyu disgusting when Buffalo Bill did it, but it was somehow hilareous when Jay did it. Also, I don't want to ever see that part of the movie again. Yuck.

Wow. You saw and liked Goodbye Horses BEFORE you saw Silence of the Lambs? You are the first person I've met who can say that. Everyone I know started liking it out of our fascination with the movie.

Perhaps it would be better to hear the same scene from the musical version? "Put the Fucking Lotion in the Basket", from SILENCE! Silence of the Lambs: The Musical - by Jon & Al Kaplan.

I think I just ruined part of the screen on my laptop with coffee from my mouth.
