The Goddess Bunny and Rubber Johnny
 

as a young boy, i once watched a real snuff video back in the 80's. a woman thought she was going to be participating in a gangbang porno (willingly), then instead the guys held her down cut off a few of her fingers with garden shears (the kind you use for small branches) sawed off her leg at the upper thigh, sliced open her vagina and then pulled out her intestines.

my point?

rarely have I seen anything that I find genuinely disturbing. to be honest, i really don't go searching for disturbing imagery as it usually reminds me of watching that video.

while randomly surfing the net aimlessly, i came across this video clip from the movie The Goddess Bunny.

needless to say it freaked me out. i wondered if it was real? was it trick photography or perhaps a realistic head put on a puppet's body? i did a search on wikipedia and found that this was an actual movie/documentary and the actor(?) is a real person named Johnnie Baima.

at the bottom of the article it mentioned a reference to another disturbing video (short) called Rubber Johnny.

while not quite as freaky in my opinion as i had read before hand that it was a special effects music video in which the director for artistic reason had expanded it...

I recognize that description; you are referring to the movie Snuff (1976). It was not real. You can do the research yourself, I don't want to even see the images from it, so I'm not doing it.

I won't be viewing your other links, for the same reason.

Im not touching that Goddess Bunny video, but the Rubber Johnny video started out as a music video i believe for Aphex Twin, and contains absolutely no snuff material what so ever. While a little disturbing that someone even thought of it, I gotta admit the special effect in that video is pretty sweet.

By the by, the Goddess Bunny movie is real, and is actually a clip from a full length documentary from 1988 about Johnny Baima, a deformed, tap dancing transvestite according to wikipedia. It follows him and freinds as they show off the underground gay and lesbian club scene.

are you sure that's "snuff", that wouldn't play in theatres... on imdb the trivia said that it played in theatres.

I was very young, around 8 or 9 years old i think, when I watched it. My dad had left me and my step brother alone one night while he and my step-mom went out partying. We raided his porno stash. back in the day my dad taped/recorded everything. it was funny because out of the hundreds (or so it seemed) of video tapes there were about a dozen or so that were not labeled which were of course the porno collection. we stuck the tape in the VCR and started watching it. the entire time we were watching it we were trying to figure out if it was real or fake. I determined it was real because, I have never since that day ever seen murder scene in a movie that extreme and graphic.

please keep in mind i was very young and this was probably 22-24 years ago.
based on Redlemon's comment, I am interested in seeing the movie purely to verify if it is the same movie i saw as a young boy. it would kind of put my mind at ease, knowing for sure it was faked...

if you mean why we we started watching it? because it was some chick who was going to do a gangbang porno scene. My dad also like horror movies so we were trying to figure out if this was a porno, a horror movie, or real.

if you are insinuating my dad was a sick fuck for keeping a movie like that, then you are probably correct. He gave me and my sister up for adoption to my step-father in order to get out of paying back child support, so i probably got lucky. i haven't seen my real father in over two decades...

Well, I just watched the Goddess Bunny clip, and I'm definitely going to have that imagery haunting my mind for the next few days.

Snuff did play in theatres, but was banned shortly after due to public outcry. It was released on DVD just recently from Blue Underground, who specializes on finding these awful underground films.

When it was released, it was marketed as a real snuff film. Something along the lines of it was filmed "accidentally" as they were doing a documentary about something else.

I've never seen it, but am familiar with the story because I saw the full marketing campaign Blue Underground did for it. Unfortunately it sold very well.
