The Sixth Sense. I gasped out loud at that one.

It wasn't really a surprise ending, but when my husband and I went to see the first Lord of the Rings (Fellowship) he didn't realize, since he hadn't read the book, that it wasn't "going to end". All the way home he kept saying, "that's it?". I kept trying to explain to him that he'd have to wait for the next two movies for the ending.
