The Black Dogs In The New Omen Movie
 

Hi all. I recently saw the new Omen movie. It was pretty good, although I really didn't see a need to remake it. A friend of mine wants to know what kind of dogs the black snarling dogs were. I understand that Damien was the son of a Jackal, but those were no jackals. Any ideas? Thanks.

In the original they were Rottweilers. I haven't seen the remake though.

They are rottweilers. The first dog you see just standing there, I'm not sure of.

The first dog looks like an all black German Shepherd.
