Seriously? Seriously???

This just grinds my gears. These fools were fired last year because they were so greedy / incompetent that they nearly drove their business into bankruptcy - they did such a terrible job at running their own company the government had to step in to suss things out. And they believe they deserve severance pay? Potentially on the backs of taxpayers?

F them!

But do they have a case?

If it was specified in their contracts that they were to get a severance package, independently of their performance, then I don't see how they aren't entitled to it.

If I'm going to be mad at someone I'm going to be mad at the government for failing to do their due diligence in taking the company over to make sure this sort of thing didn't happen.

/deja vu.

Let him take it out in trade from the Walmart stores. He, too, can get extra large 48 pack rolls of cheap ass-numbing toilet paper the leaves dingle berries on his ass.

Oh and how about a 2 years worth of plastic shoes that make your feet sweat and smell bad? No, better yet, that 12 pack of spaghetti O's in the new tupperware re-heatable containers? Then he can entertain his stock market pals....yum,

Your post reminds me of "don't hate the player, hate the game". And I don't necessarily disagree with you.

Except, of course, the real victims are those that were bankrupted by criminals. The free market is not justice.
