If you still want to do the life drawing thing, you'll have to come here now, I'm afraid. It's a bit further for you than the trip across to the middle of Europe that it was, but much nicer. This is the view from one of my favourite parts of the city. Any way, the invitation is still open!

this is almost like the sydney harbour bridge except without the curved top. even the view in the backdrop.

I moved to Canada because it's such a nice place. Friendly people, loads of opportunities....a good place to 're-invent' yourself, if you feel like doing that - which I did. New marriage, new career, new home, new everything, really.

Great piece

I love the use of the blues in it, even though the picture seems saturated in them, although I guess it cannot be helped seeing that the painting has been done at night

Lewis, I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

You're immensely talented. There is no reason why an artist as talented as yourself should not be able to make a living solely upon his art.

Still no prints?

if not prints - start cranking one of a kinds! if the opportunity is there, the galleries will be accepting. Its scary and difficult - but damnit do something you love! people would kill for your talent

Well, thanks everyone for such wonderful comments!

I'll look into the prints thing in a few months time, if and when I get a little better known. Vancouver Art gallery are talking about taking some pieces when they have room, so that's pretty exciting.

In the meantime, I'll carry on doing what I love to do!

Oh Canada! I wouldn't mind living there myself as I find the country/people very appealing! If Loverboy and I were able to find jobs over there it would be a blast to try and live there for a year or more

Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.
