some flash work
Here are two flash movies I made for class that I thought I'd share. For the first one, we were supposed to get a children's poem, fairy tale, etc. and reinterpret it within flash. I drew all the scenes in flash using my little 4x5 wacom tablet. For the second movie, we were required to use some provided vector graphics (a robot head, soldier, drone, space figures, etc) for the main focus, and make a story loosely about "finding the motionpod" which had to end with the motionpod logo. I didn't spend as much time on the second one but he seemed to like it. What do you think? I had little to no experiance with flash before taking the class.

I liked the Humpty one. Your use of music to set the mood was very nice. My only suggestion/comment is that I've never broken an egg open that was all red inside. I think if I did, I'd probably vomit. I think to fit the concept, it might look better if when he cracked open on the sidewalk, it actually looked like an egg - white with yellow yolk that is.
Good work though. I wish like hell I could learn Flash. I've opened it up a few times, but I'm too damn impatient. I want to know how to do what I want to do RIGHT NOW. =). Keep up the work and thanks for posting!

These are very nice, I like the Humpty one especially though it's quite sad. I agree he should look like an egg when he's cracked, the red is weird.
Good work, got any more? Very entertaining.

Thanks. I had originally made it yellow, but thought it was too cartoon like. I made his insides red to make it seem more like a person died rather than just a walking egg. I'm glad you found it sad, that's what I was going for. I'll post some more when I finish some bigger projects.
