ok .. since I was on photoshop ... since i posted my last one. i fuged i'd make a planet real quick and post it .. as i think i do ok with them. (took about 30 min from scratch)

Definately not my best specimen .. but still ok (friggin outlines with lighting effects.. should have feathed adn deleted them.)

Anyways, I really like it. I really like the glare effects.

gotta love photoshop. I didnt know it was capable of such things in only 30 min. I need to start reading some tutorials.

I love whipping out planets and such to pass the time. nice job! (try the orange-yellow gradient sometime with filters-you can make a planet of fire!)

How are you getting the texture on the planet? Is that a clouds filter?
