First attempt at a photoshop cartoon.
Im not sure how to embed a pic into the thready .. but we'll see if this works.
This is a random pic of me. I used a photoshop tutorial, but dumped it part of the way through as it wasnt helpful. Then i finished a cartoon of myself.. Not too bad, silver. But I gotta ask. You look a bit peeved in the photo version of you. Are you angry, and if so, why?

Actually it was my 10 year old holding the cam .. so i was making a face at her... i'm never peeved ..

This looks good, but I find Illustrator is a better tool for things like this. :)

so much aliasing!! use the brush tool next time. not the pencil... or give it a slight blur.
but it's your 1st so it's good. :) keep it up! |
I agree with cellophanedeity, for this kind of cartoon look, Illustrator is the better tool. There is a higher learning curve, but the rewards are greater.
